Monday and today both we have been blessed by a reprieve from the heat. Both days I have fully taken advantage of the cooler temps by heading out for an OAR. That's right, an Open Air Run. What? You thought triathletes were the only ones who get to make up acronyms? Hehe.
Today while near one of my traditional water stops (feature #712 that I love about the park: water fountains!) I saw people setting up something that looked like it was going to be a great time. I asked what they were doing and they said it was for a company picnic for one of the local casinos. Dang--those people do know how to put on a good time! I kinda wanted to stop and play for a while. Think I could get away with it? ;)
The run felt great and I'm loving building back up. Tomorrow is a rest day then I'm back out for a slightly longer run on Friday. Run strong & be merry!
