My hope is that we are raising our children to be resilient, kind people who will love life. Will they face tragedy? Absolutely! Did we? Of course! Did our grandparents experience presidents being assassinated, countries attacking ours and WORLD wars? Yes, but as your BFF pontificates, we must not let these events harden us! I had sick feelings about Sandy Hook for days but did a similar reflection about the people who love and care for my kids.
